Stephanie Blazi

Stephanie’s yoga journey began about 10 years ago when she dropped into a yoga class at her local gym. That first class focused on slowing down and breathing, and she was hooked. She completed her 500 hour teacher training.

She finished her 200 hour training over two years ago and began teaching immediately. Stephanie studied the Yoga Therapy Rx program at Loyola Marymount University. Her classes blend a flow style with a therapeutic approach that has a strong emphasis on proper, individualized alignment while remaining heavily breath centered. Stephanie’s deep understanding of anatomy lends itself to a safe healthy and challenging practice.

Risa Ross-Albertson

Risa, E-RYT, discovered early on in her practice that when she stepped onto her mat the world around her quieted, time became irrelevant, her breath lengthened and deepened and she found herself present in the now. That is the gift that yoga has given to her. That gift has had profound effects on every aspect of Risa’s life…. emotionally, spiritually, mentally and physically. When Risa walks into an asana room, either as a teacher or a student, she is overwhelmed with a sense of gratitude. It is all of these experiences that ultimately led Risa into a teacher training program. She has since completed 1000 hours of training and two mentor programs, and has herself become a teacher trainer.

Risa now teaches Hatha Level 1, Level 1/2, Vinyasa Flow, Gentle Yoga, Restoratives, Yin and Therapeutics. She is also an advance Reiki Practitioner and an Urban Zen Practitioner. To be able to share with other students this sense of gratitude, quiet, joy, compassion, forgiveness and acceptance that Risa continually finds through her own practice, ever evolving, is the greatest gift of all. When she is not on her mat, Risa is blessed to be a mom to her son and daughter, three dogs, a step-mom to her stepdaughters and a best friend to her husband. She also loves to design/make jewelry and malas, hike, spend time with girlfriends, and run to the beach whenever possible.
