Kundalini Yoga is considered the most comprehensive yoga; combining meditation,chanting, physical and breathing exercises. It balances the nervous and glandular system. It also works in helping to diminish depression, insomnia, addiction and stress, offering incredible healing power.

 Yogi Bhajan, PhD, master of Kundalini Yoga brought these teachings to America in 1969. He felt that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy its healing benefits.It is a great way to recharge and heal the body quickly.  It stimulates the nervous and immune systems, while improving strength and flexibility, as it centers the mind and opens the spirit.  Kundalini Yoga uses movement, sound, breath and meditation to relax and heal your mind and body. Each Kundalini Yoga pose is done in conjunction with a specific breath that intensifies the effects of the poses with the purpose of freeing energy in the lower body and allowing it to move upwards. Kundalini sequences may consist of rapid, repetitive movements done with breath or holding a pose while breathing in a particular way. It is seen as a great way to help patients with their healing process and an excellent tool to find balance for their caregivers.
