Introduction To Yoga Schedule
Yoga is a science of clearing away the obstacles in our body and mind returning us back to our birthright - a state of peace and happiness. Yoga addresses our lives, our spirit, not just our bodies. You can come to yoga for longer muscles, more strength and relaxation, what you leave with is a deeper knowledge of your true self.

All Introduction to Yoga classes are held on a Saturday between 2:00-4:00pm

May 10th, June 21st

This is the perfect place to start if you're a beginner or would like to increase your knowledge of yoga. Yoga is a great way to stretch your body and clear your mind alleviating physical and mental tension. You will gain a basic understanding of the physical postures, breathing techniques and relaxation. Types of yoga will be outlined and a discussion on how to find the right level of class for your needs will be held. Appropriate movement for specific injuries, disabilities, pregnancy or just an under used body will be addressed. An introduction to the history and philosophy of yoga will be included.

When coming to a yoga class wear comfortable clothing.
Refrain from eating a meal 2-3 hours before class.
Don't wear heavy oils, perfumes or after shaves.
Drink plenty of water after class to help detoxify your body.
Enjoy your yoga practice and appreciate the time you spend on yourself, your health and your happiness.

The fee for each Introduction to Yoga is $20 if registered and prepaid five days (or more) in advance,
after that the class is $25.
